Surface Water Rescue
Full Description
This course is designed for water rescue in flat or slow moving water in lakes, pond, rivers and bays. It meets the NFPA 1006 standards for Surface Water Rescue at the awareness, operations, and Technician levels.  this course covers all aspects of water rescue using the Preach, Reach, Throw, Row and Go methodology. The course is 16 hour long and includes classroom, a pool session, and an open water session. Students should have the ability to swim well and be in good physical condition.
